Generally, we can test with a new screen when the old screen is completely black. If it can display normally, it means that there is a problem with the motherboard, if not, it means that there is a problem with the screen.

 

But there are some specific situations, we can directly judge the need for replacement based on the appearance of the screen.

 

Because the iPhone X is an OLED screen which has no backlight, if the OLED display is damaged, the screen will not emit light. When the following situations occur, the screen assembly cannot be repaired and it needs to be replaced:

 

Is the inductor on the upper layer of the CPU non-wetting that causes this problem.
To solve it, we just need to replace the inductor and replant the tin:

Note: when replacing the screen, do not touch the face dot component, because it is very fragile and may be broken when touched!
